Multiverse 3’s boom bap anthem “The Funky Summer” gets a bewitching new Acid Techno rework by Creola. A blazing talent in Sheffield’s music scene, Mike Thompson aka Creola is fast gaining recognition for his searing semi-improvised Acid hardware sets.

Created live on an MPC, the remix then underwent the AJ&JG mixing and mastering treatment until we co-produced this rugged Acid Mix Edit that captures Creola’s raw hardware style in a sound system-ready explosion of rhythm and texture.

Guaranteed to blow up harder dance floors, we can only suggest that you strap in securely for a deeply funky journey as Creola weaves together a timeless Acid Techno monster that drips with ’91 Warehouse Rave euphoria.
