Multiverse 3 recorded live 8th December 2001 at the REK Records label launch party at the now legendary Sheffield hip hop night Phonetics.

You can hear how excited we were to rip through our set in front of a packed crowd, and all three of us are on top of our game.

Massive respect to DJ Riles, who absolutely tears it up on the ones and twos, plus our friend MC Reality who destroys his verse on set-closer S.A.S.

You'll hear us give a huge shout out to Headcase Lads, who were headlining the night. We joined them on stage for a freestyle later, which was such an honour.

We've now returned the recording of their full set to Slicerman, perhaps it'll see the light of day as well, but that's very much up to those guys.

As ever, all profits from this release go to Sheffield charity Ben's Centre to support their work with street people.
